Story time! So, yesterday I was at a music festival, and of course I saw a whole bunch of beautiful instruments played. Most were things everyone has seen (ex: guitar, piano, saxophone), but one instrument that I saw truly enchanted me; the didgeridoo. Hard to spell and fun to pronounce, the didgeridoo produced an eerie and strangely beautiful sound. It’s sort of a low hum, but it definitely is captivating. Furthermore, the didgeridoo is a wind instrument that originated in Australia, and it is so intricate that to play it you have to practice a certain way to breath! Circular breathing is practiced by concurrently through the nose and out of the mouth. (I attempted this several times, not once did I prevail.) Lastly, the didgeridoo can currently be found in many types of music: rock, jazz, hip hop, techno, blues, anything. In brief,, the didgeridoo is a distinct, uncommon instrument that will intrigue you.
